vintage pen overview summary

This is a vintage Burnham 44 fountain pen, which was manufactured in England circa 1950s. Burnham pens were made in England between the mid-1920s and the mid-1960s and are now becoming very collectible. The 1940s/1950s models come in a stunning array of different coloured marbles and several different sizes. By any standards these are worthy pens, and they make very decorative and useful addition to any colleciton. This Burnham is a fine example, in stunning & rare grey swirl patterning; gold cap band and a 14ct gold plated nib. The pen is in excellent condition. The lever filling mechanism is in perfect working order. A new sac has been fitted. The pen has been fully restored and tested. This Burnham is a classic elegance and has been produced to the highest standards of carftsmanship. This would make an excellent gift to treat yourself or for someone special
