vintage pen overview summary

Up here is Waterman's IDEAL 0552, which the makers offered a vintage Waterman's Ideal 18KT GOLD FILLED OVERLAY, with PANSY PANEL FLORAL pattern, which was manufactured in USA circa 1890s. The model number '0552' is embossed at the end of the barrel. This Waterman's IDEAL 0552 is in nice condition. It is in 18KT GOLD FILLED overlay, which is rare and high ranged model. The pen is long and bold, of overall length 5-3/8 inches. The pocket clip is stunning, with 'CLIP-CAP' and the 'IDEAL' globe embossed. And on the lever the 'IDEAL' globe is also embossed and is in prinistine condition. On the barrel is an empty space for personalization; the pen is not personalized but there are scretches at the empty space. The pen bears a Waterman No.2 14ct gold nib. A new sac has been fitted. The lever filling system is in good working order. The pen has been serviced and tested for its full functionality. This Waterman's is a classic elegance and has been produced to the highest standards of carftsmanship. This would make an excellent gift to treat yourself or for someone special.
